Program Overview: The Nexus Career Academy, known as “Pro Success,” is meticulously crafted to equip young individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to connect with diverse career opportunities, including trades. We take pride in providing a holistic perspective on sustainable income pathways, ensuring our participants are well-prepared for both present and future job prospects. Our program comprises a series of progressive seminars and workshops, covering a wide array of topics, some of which are typically found at the collegiate level. These subjects include conflict management, entrepreneurial fundamentals, marketing strategies, bookkeeping and finance management, and more. We also emphasize the cultivation of leadership skills, enabling young people to lead effectively within a diverse team and become integral members of collaborative efforts.

Safety and Prevention: At the core of our program lies a strong foundation of safety and prevention. We believe that all work should take place within a safe and secure environment. Our participants are trained in violence prevention, cyberbullying prevention, and workplace safety. Through our partnership with the Cabral Leadership and Innovation Center, participants translate their training into practical experience through supervision, group projects, reflective exercises, and mock interviews. The Nexus Career Academy is uniquely designed to pave clear pathways for young individuals to become “train the trainers” who can provide relatable guidance to their younger peers and community members.
